The peninsula of Baja California is located a the immediate south of San Diego, California and visiting its beautiful lands easy and convenient. You can take the plane, a yacht, a cab or a shuttle bus to Tijuana from downtown San Diego. In fact, you can even walk to the border and enter the city just as long as you an ID with a photo and your passport with you.
Tijuana is also a famous spring break haven because of its many beautiful beaches. What better way to enjoy the few weeks of freedom that by getting a healthy glowing skin and sun bleached hair while swimming the warm waters of Tijuana and hopping from one beach party to another. The white sand beaches of Tijuana line the perfect blue coast of the Pacific Ocean, and here, teenagers and students can spend the entire day surfing, swimming, sun bathing, snorkeling, scuba diving, para sailing, and sea kayaking.
Another reason for why Tijuana is such a famous spring break destination is the fact that the city offers several sources of entertainment that may not necessarily be possible to have in the Untied States. The legal drinking age in Tijuana for instance is just 18 years old compared to America's drinking age which is 21. Casinos, racetracks and bullfighting arenas aplenty can also be found in Tijuana, not to mention the red light district called Zona Norte.
Speaking of bars, Tijuana is also a famous drinking capital. The city has dozens of nightclubs, pubs and bars, many of which are found along the famous Avenida Revolucion, Zona Rio and Zona Norte. You can find anything from discotheques, salsa clubs, jazz bars, beach bars, gay bars and sports bars in this Mexican city.
Low prices is also something which Tijuana Citycan boast of and it is one of the main reasons why the city is such a popular spring break destination. Many people would in fact say that that the city of Tijuana offers low prices on just about anything.
