Would any one else be interested on starting a thread where we would learn one new spanish word a day? We are planning to move to Bahia Asuncion, and need to learn spanish. In Saskatchewan (province in Canada) there is not much need to speak spanish, and this way we could all learn.

My Spanish is limited, and I need to learn aswell.

I'll start with: el pan = bread

I understand it to mean "Road".
