how much will a one day scuba trip cost in baja? that includes the panga rental fee, the fee for the guides, equipment rental, and other miscellaneous fees? thanks guys

just going to drive to ensenada for a week, might go as far south as la paz if we have enough time and if there are plenty of available hotel rooms. thanks baja gypsy

Well Ricardo in BOLA was around $180 for two people for a day of diving.

We also have a friend in Mulege named Mick (Cortez Explorers), very good diving there, don't know what he charges though, if you are interested let me know.

its january again! whale watching peaks during this month until late in april so those wanting to see whale (or swimming near them for that matter) should take advantage of the opportunity and come down to baja during this time. will meet with beachbum and friends in la paz this february to go diving, whale watching and desert biking. hope to see you guys there!

A couple of Grey Whales were spotted of the tip of the peninsular at Cabo last week.

yes its whale watching season in ensenada again! i think it starts from december until late in april so this is the best time to drive down south if you want a glimpse of gray whales. actually, you can even come close enough to touch these amazing creatures if you go to a whale watching tour. the ones ive been on would take you out to sea on a boat or a small yacht and the whales would sometimes pop their heads out and let you touch them. its a great experience and kids would love it!

can't wait to bring my kids to see the whale sharks. we'd be driving down to rosarito next week for a weekend with my wife's family and i would like to take them on a whale watching tour. i really liked the picture of a travelogue in this site where the tourists in the boat were touching th whales and i would love for them to experience that!
