San Roque (which is by Bahia Asuncion), is where my husband spear fished a huge halibut that feed 15 people! I was a very proud esposo!!!

I was a little worried as he disappeared for a long time, it took him almost 5 miinutes under water to bring it up, he was free diving, so there was no air tanks, just a lung full of air.

There is an awesome yellowtail tournament here in Asuncion around Aug.15 every year as part of the traditional fiestas which are way too much fun..5 days of partying, fishing, beach sports, horse and car races, live bands, dances, food, all free! During Oct-NOv you can even catch big yellowtail off the beaches!!! crazy man.
