Todos Santos (“All Saints”) is a splendid coastal town at the foothills of the Sierra Laguna Mountains, right on the Pacific coast side of the Baja Peninsula California. This peaceful place is considered to one of Mexico’s premiere surfing destination. Moreover, many adventure-seekers and artists come to Todos Santos to admire its natural splendor.
Todos Santos may not be considered as the swinger’s paradise but it great potential is now being harnessed. The Arthur Hills/ Steve Forest and Associates are commissioned to design 36 holes golf course in Punta Lobos, Todos Santos.
This huge infrastructure project will occupy more than 1,800 acres of seaside property which is owned by the Santa Ana Family. The Punta Lobos (“Sea Lion Point”) will have two golf courses, residences, hotels and marina. The Santa Ana Family who have owned this land for more than 150 years, have emphasized that this soon to be developed resort will take into consideration the commercial things and environmental concerns of these areas. Furthermore, according to them Punta Lobos will become a part of the two centuries of tradition and heritage that built Todos Santos.
Punta Lobos will be something tourist would definitely watch out for. It has a remarkable terrain, breathtaking view, and easy access to Todos Santos’ azure waters. Another new development will be the upcoming Rancho Santa Ana Golf Course. This will be built on the property east of Highway 19, the coastal road that connects Todos Santos with Cabo San Lucas to the south.
Indeed, Todos Santos is continuously flourishing and developing. It is fast becoming one of the sought-after places in the entire Baja Peninsula. The world is finally acknowledging Todos Santos’ splendor and natural beauty. This town’s small size does not say much on how uniquely exciting and eccentric Todos Santos really is.
